International Women’s Day is celebrated globally each year on March 8. Featured are women in the fields of medicine, science, caregiving (to the young and old), construction and architecture, photography (those who bear witness), and music, justice, agriculture, and the arts and writing (those who share and record significant events and viewpoints), and various trades.
