Orange-Yellow Fluorescent pigments are very eye-catching and will add a sense of enthusiasm and encouragement to your products!
This colour has been filtered of harmful impurities and can be used by itself in body care applications or to enhance the quality of other colours in different applications. It can be used for colouring cosmetics such as nail polish as well as colouring soaps. This pigment has been proven to be firm in soaps and will not adjust the appearance in cold process or melt-and-pour soaps. It even gives unvarying colouring with a stable shade batch to batch.
One of its downsides though is that it tends to clump and you will need to be extra cautious to de-clump first before adding to your recipe. To de-clump beforehand, use a hand mixer to pre-mix your pigment in with a deodorised fixed oil, such as sweet almond oil, before adding to your soap. This will help dissolve and break up any clusters.
The coloured oil can then be added to the soap batter at trace when making cold process soap. For melt and pour soap, the colour must be mixed carefully with glycerine to get free from flecking. Then, simply add it to the melt and pour soap.
The 15g option is packed in a clear vial whereas bigger options come packed in resealable ziplock standup pouches.
Add this orange-yellow fluorescent pigment to your bath and body products for a bright and colourful boost to your end product!
