Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blanc 2009 is luminous with an intense gold colour and glints of green. The nose hints of lemon, apricot, and brugnon. Hints of fresh almond paste, white flowers, calisson d'Aix evoke the maturity of the vintage. A beautifully balanced palate, both lively and tasty, but with a subtle and long finish. It is the effect of the combination of silky acidity, the freshness of the stone fruits, and a surprising sapidity.
