Rarely seen around these parts of the globe this is the Kirin Fuji Sanroku Signature Blend Japanese Whisky, a beautiful single grain whisky from the Fuji Gotemba distillery.

The key differential to this whisky is that it does not focus on the age of the whisky, but instead focuses on the different stages of maturation of the raw spirits (malt, barrel material, etc.) used, and blends the raw spirits that are at their maturation peak. The whisky is characterised by its multi-layered and mature flavour, with a fruity aroma reminiscent of pears, gradations of tropical fruits, orange peel, with sweet and aromatic flavours like brown sugar and baked goods.
