Rooster Rojo initiated the production of mezcal in the year 2022, though the brand has been engaged in the crafting of tequila since 2000. The spirit underwent a double distillation process in a copper still located in Oaxaca.

In an effort to prevent any potential interaction with sunlight, the chosen container for the spirit is fashioned from dark clay, a decision that aids in maintaining impeccable flavor.
