Hennessy XO Cognac is is both elegant and complex, aged and blended to be bold, rich, and persistent. The nose is rich, full-bodied with dark dried fruit notes. Dates, plums, sultana. The palate is poised, rich, cocoa, dried fruits, nutty. Finally, the finish lingers with caramel, custard and oak.

Richard Hennessy founds the House of Hennessy in 1765, in Cognac, France. With his partners, he succeeds in establishing a thriving business exporting brandies, mostly to his native Ireland, and England. The original X.O was created by Maurice Hennessy for family and friends — Hennessy X.O or “Extra Old” has become the worldwide benchmark for cognac, and the standard of excellence for all X.O cognacs.
