Purple-black and dark; reassuringly grainy. Blackberries, dark fruits, and ripe compote. Fresh and alive and very primary in its cabernet aromatics: cassis, in a word. Wispy wafts of distant vanilla whiff through, hinting at the faintest aftershave-like application of subtle oak. Definable and discernible cabernet sauvignon. The sweetness and light of ripe and lush cabernet fruit, but then the reverse of the medal: something more trenchant and considered. An otherwise pert and long palate, with cool and cooling dark berry fruits. There s depth in the mid-palate, offering an ordered opulence. The giving fruit is balanced by textural and drying tannins.

Enjoy this wine with beef, lamb and poultry dishes.
