Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals black cherry and liquorice aromas infused with black pepper followed by some scorched earth and spicy black olive notes. Rich ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours drive the medium to full bodied palate with notions of vanillin oak and scorched earth lying underneath. Peppery finish with a sturdy tannin structure imparting a chewy feel onto the lengthy aftertaste.

Shiraz is a perfect wine to pair with red meat, such as beef, lamb, and venison. The tannins in Shiraz can complement the rich flavours of red meat, and the wine's bold taste can stand up to the intense flavours of grilled or roasted meat.
