This modern wine sees Hunter Valley, Hilltops and Canberra District Shiraz thoughtfully blended to deliver a medium bodied wine of outstanding intensity and balance.

The Smoking Barrel Shiraz makes a fine companion to a hearty winter stew and is ready to drink now or after several years in the cellar.

The combination of contrasting regions and vineyard sites manages to deliver a wine of great interest and appeal. An exotically fragranced nose featuring dark berries, clove, and spicy French oak, leads onto a fleshy palate boasting great natural balance and length of flavour. A medium bodied style that will reward short to medium term cellaring.
