Australia’s first true deep red geranium, Big Red produces an immense display of large deep red flowers from spring to autumn. To compliment the large rich blooms the dark green foliage highlights the flowers. Heat and drought tolerant once established, Big red is beautiful, eye catching, and versatile all in one plant.

Flowering: Spring to Autumn

Position: Full sun, part shade.

Height: 30-45cm

Width: 40-50cm

Location: Idea for containers, garden beds, hanging baskets, landscaping, cottage gardens.

Durability: Highly drought tolerant once established.

Care: Prefers a well-drained soil. Water regularly until established, Apply slow release fertilizer in spring. Remove dead flowers to encourage new blooms. Prune in late autumn before frosts to maintain bushy habit.

If you choose the cuttings option you will receive 3 plants (no roots) straight off the parent plant. If you prefer rooted plants please use the potted options.

Shipping, packing and handling times

Orders must be received by 4pm Sunday for the same week shipment. Any orders received after 4pm Sunday will be shipped the following Monday week to allow for handling and processing times (excluding pre-orders)

For refunds and replacements contact must be made no later than 48 hours after delivery of goods with photo verification of the damaged plants. All requests after 48 hours of delivery are subject to plants being in environmental conditions beyond our control and will not be replaced or refunded.
