Knob Creek 18 Year Old Limited Edition Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml
2023 Release / Batch 02
This limited-edition release celebrates the time, effort, and commitment to our never-ending pursuit of craft. Aged twice as long as our flagship bourbon, Knob Creek 18-Year-Old owes its rich copper color and deep notes of caramelised oak to its extensive aging in our Kentucky rack houses.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Rich copper tones with auburn hues.
Aroma: Brown sugar and aged oak, with notes of char and caramel.
Taste: Full-bodied with notes of caramelised oak and hints of sweet vanilla and baking spices.
"The 2023 release of Knob Creek 18 is what extra aged bourbon should taste like. It gives you a shock to the palate but the nose doesn t overwhelm you. Overall, the nose and palate work together nicely and I think this is a bottle which any Knob Creek fan should own." - Jake Lewellen, Bourbon Lens
"The fact that Beam put out a bottle of this caliber and age shows me that they took the time to get it right. Trust me, I ve been trying to find fault with it because I don t want it to be good and I don t want enthusiasts to tater over it. But the truth is that it is worth the price. This might not mean that I rush out to buy one, but if I m in a store looking for something special, have the money to spend that day and I see one of these, it s a no brainer." - The Bourbon Culture
"The oldest release to date, Knob Creek 18 Year is a well constructed, oak forward bourbon with an undeniable vibrancy and complementary sweetness, but doesn t quite hit the high point the company s high proof, high aged single barrels have achieved in the past." - Nick Beiter, Breaking Bourbon
"This is really good, and really shows how extended barrel aging can really benefit a bourbon. Certainly, this is a whiskey on the level with Eagle Rare 17 and the Van Winkle bottlings for ultra-aged bourbon. Based on my prior reviews of Knob Creek, this is the oldest Jim Beam whiskey I have tried." Brad Drell, The Whiskey Jar
